CALENDAR OF OFLLAH EVENTS
Our social events for our clients include the spring brunch in May, the Ice Cream Social in September, and coffees at various time of the year hosted by our board members in their homes. We will staff the Flea Market, Antiques and Collectibles and T-shirt sale fundraisers. Regular monthly board meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Turner Building, 5230 E. Fort Lowell.
All events are held at the San Pedro Chapel, 5230 E. Fort Lowell, unless noted otherwise in the description. Please note: Although the events are listed below to show what we do each year, due to the coronavirus they have been cancelled for the remainder of 2020.
April 26: Client Brunch, 11:30 to 1:00, Hill Farm Clubhouse on Hill Farm Drive just north of Fort Lowell. At this annual event, our volunteers and board bring our clients to the lovely original Hill family home for a delicious brunch. Tables are set with pretty china, flowers and cloths are on the tables, and the food, all cooked by us, is served to each client at his or her seat. This event is open to both clients and their family members. Cancelled due to the coronavirus.
September 27: Ice Cream Social, 2:00 to 3:30, San Pedro Chapel. Clients are served sundaes of their choice, put together for them and brought to their table by our board and volunteers. Several flavors of ice cream and sauces are available along with a selection of toppings. We provide transportation for our clients. This event is also open the the neighborhood. November 6, 7, and 8: 2020 Antiques and Collectibles Sale, San Pedro Chapel. Our 24th annual fall fundraiser offers a large selection of furniture, art, collectibles, jewelry and much more at wonderful prices. Open to the public. Cancelled due to the coronavirus.
Coffees: Board members invite small groups of clients to their homes for coffee, tea, and snacks at various times during the year. A great way for clients, volunteers, and board members to get to know each other better and to share their stories. Cancelled due to the coronavirus for 2020.
